Biography
Started his career at Athletic, many forget this. A successful debut season saw the midfielder moved up front where he caught the eye of soon to be United manager Manic Minor. Brought in to spearhead the United attack in the first full season of the RPL league, United went on to win the title and Tylerinho secured the leagues inaugural Golden Boot.
Season 3 saw samba style encapsulate United and tyler was played LW as Robinho. It was all style but no substance and a disappointing 3rd place for United.
By now tyler was part of the furniture at United and Spain was the next destination. David Silva was to be Tylerinho's assistant in another wide role. United's worst season to date followed, a 4th place finish and just two wins all season.
United needed to re-establish themselves as a contender so season 5 was a big one for the club. Tylerinho was moved back to a central striking role and Zlatan was the tool with which he was to fire. A fruitful partnership with Winchrik Larsson blossomed but United still don't know how this title wasn't theirs, finishing runners-up. The United Player of the Season award was given to tyler for the first time but he took little consolation from this along with his second Golden Boot.
United brought in a glittering array of stars in the transfer window. Tylerinho was to pull the strings for expensive new strikers, designated a CAM role with Gourcuff of France. The team of superstars struggled and Manic Minor couldn't see a way forward, so handed over the United reigns to Wincho for season 7. United dropped back to a 4th place finish.
The new boss asked tyler to move up front once more and also to be United's captain. A great honour but it was to be a stuttering season on the pitch as tyler found his feet in the captain's role. Another unsuccessful season but a few games in central midfield gave tyler a new lease of life.
There could be no excuses now. Tylerinho had grown into the captaincy and was deployed as the Portuguese defensive midfielder, Manuel Fernandes. He was part of a great partnership with Smithstock in the middle and United looked the real deal again. The title of Gamechanger™ was bestowed upon tyler along with United's coveted Player of the Season award. Once more though, it was only to be a runners-up medal.
Enter the Greeks. Enter Phil Collinidis. Exit Manic Minor. Tylerinho was paired up front with Miner Willy for the second time in their career. Another title followed. A third Golden Boot followed. It's simple maths. United lifted the title, tyler's first as United captain but most importantly that winning ethos was back.
Season 10 promises much for Tylerinho & United...
